Val Brothwood
Val comes to Yes U Can USA with incredible passion to help people, so she combined her passion for people and passion for sports with her dedication to serve and joined Yes U Can USA as a board member and advocate for people with disabilities.
As a team leader at Networks School for the Entrepreneurial Sciences, her teaching and leadership skills, utilizing a hands-on instructional approach, help students acquire employability and technical skills necessary to obtain and retain employment upon graduating. Her role prepares the students to become productive members of a workforce.
She currently serves as the Golf Programs and Services Director for the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) Wilmington, DE Chapter. With her direction and recommendation, she helped to facilitate the EWGA’s decision to support, sponsor and participate in Yes U Can USA’s Annual Golf Classic. She has continued her efforts in supporting Yes U Can USA by serving as the Chair of the Golf Committee for the Yes U Can USA Golf Classic and assisting with fundraising efforts, while also bringing awareness to the community about the organization.
